For those who didn't know, from Episode168 onwards, the current Hueco Mundo arc is diverting to fillers in order to allow Tite Kubo time to publish more material. The storyline focuses on the new captain, Shūsuke Amagai, chosen to lead the Gotei 13 3rd Division in light of Ichimaru Gin's subsequent betrayal and desertion.
